Recently the family that Erin lives with helped me out in a huge bind and kept Pete while he recovered from a little minor surgery. Things are just to chaotic in a large kennel, Pedie needed a quiet place. This was a bit of an experiment, because they are a dogless family, and Pete is extremely high energy. We did not know how it would all go, nor did we know that he would have some sort of intestinal issue that made his recovery and care rather messy and complicated. 
Pete was spoiled rotten, and isn't it funny how these things work... that dogless family discovered that magical positive energy that a dog brings to a household.
Special thanks to Wamblee who really bonded with Pete, even teaching him the finer points of gaming!
