Well Ellie does like the boys....

So commented Erin tonight when she learned that Ellie delivered 4 boys today. We wound up at the Vet Clinic, and thank you much Dr Heather and the staff of Alpine Vet Clinic in Whitehorse for your fine care. Ellie's water broke this morning at 5:30, but she didn't continue the process so after a few hours of worry and pacing I took her into the clinic where she needed a shot of Oxytocin to get things started. Thankfully no C-Section... it is much too cold for a shaved tummy. A few hours and 4 boys later we are looking forward to a better sleep tonight. Pups are nursing strongly and Ellie is a very good Mom. She did all of the work herself, and the staff let her do it.  Now the fun begins!
