Then cresting what is affectionately (or not so affectionately known) as the B_TCH hill we were stopped by another flagger.
And then, finally for chills and giggles all dogs had a good sniff at the ribcage laying on the road as we passed by. Yep, I said ribcage, I mean why not? Doesn't every dog team driver deal with the odd random ribcage laying in the road?
Once again I am humbled by this little team of mine. Huge thanks to Karen Ramstead of North Wapiti: http://www.northwapiti.com/
for parting with Hilda. Hilda is teaching the baby Raven to ignore such distractions and together they took the team through all the heavy construction with not even a flinch. Even youngster Skala who ran beside veteran bomb proof Impi was not perturbed by all of the commotion. The things these dogs do for me, just because I ask them. WOW, thanks team!
ps.... YES that is snow, and YES it was in the minus digits this weekend, and YES this is only November in Lotus Land.......
