The drive North so far has been very pretty. Erin is good company and we take lots of breaks to get the dogs out and let them stretch their legs, and to give my ankle a break. Eeeeesh, I shouldn't even say that word! Yesterday the check engine light came on in the truck, and a quick call to the dealer indicated probably nothing serious, but as Whitehorse is still very far away through some very remote country this morning while we have a little time before Erin flies out I think a stop at a local mechanic is in order. I hope to get as far as Chetwynd today.
