Finally we had a break in the storms, and the plows came out to clear the streets. Another front is supposed to move through tomorrow, bringing snow, and then changing to the more typical rains of the coast. Our power was out for most of Christmas Eve, getting it back last night, only to lose it again very early this morning. Finally things came back on around noon, which was a relief, as with being on a well, when the power goes out, there is no water!
Dogs are enjoying the snow tho! Here is Hilda, who is quite difficult to photograph, as even at 7 years old, she never stops moving.
Of course Jovo has an opinion about the snow as well, and took a moment to share it with the neighbourhood, leading the yard in a group howl.

Now that the temps have warmed up to hover around -3 to +1 the pups are spending more time out in their kennel. This gives them lots of room to run around and play. Today they are 5 weeks old, and I wonder where has the time gone!I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and that the holidays are peaceful and bright.
Merry Christmas from all of us at RiverIce in Maple Ridge, BC!

I see the three muskeeers there, but where is Piper? Can't wait to see them in real life.
