The second to third week of life is the transition week. This is when they transition from blind and deaf to being part of the world. All of the pups are over 5 lbs now, and their eyes are turning colors.
This week they had their first "team building exercise", a group howl at 12:26 am! After it had me flying out of bed at a dead run, I asked them to please do it at a more reasonable hour!

Pete (black and white male)

Jack (grey and white male)

Piper (grey and white female)

Mom snoozing with pups

Raven discovers she likes to chew! Michael discovers she has little needle puppy teeth!

KitKat keeping watch on her favorite chair!

Playing dress-up......... got a long ways to grow to fit into Mom's collar!
Lemme OUT!!!!
(Jack)
Psssssst, do you think you can give me a boost?

Pete is the first one to climb out of the pool. He has done it 3 times now.

Those are cute puppies, L-R Jack, Pete and Piper. My favs
ReplyDeleteI have dibs on Piper; she is the cutest, fatest, cuddliest one of them all. But they are all sooooo sweet. So envious of the puppy love.
