I pulled up to the Sumas Border crossing, and handed the border guard my passport. He stepped out of his booth, walked down the length of the truck, then walked back to the drivers window and said "Ummmm your truck is missing something"I said "I KNOW!!!!! I keep telling it to put its box on, that it is just not appropriate to drive around naked!!"
For a moment he was speechless, then he burst into laughter, and said "makes it real easy to inspect", handed me back my passport and wished me a good day.
Truck is now in Washington State having the frame cut and extended another 18 inches. Once this is done (thank you Doug Solberg) the box can be mounted on the truck, along with my outriggers (those fabulous ones Doug made). One step closer......
